Common payment types #

  • JobSeeker Payment #

    for people seeking employment.

  • Parenting Payment #

    for primary carers of children under 8 years of age (single parents) or under 6 years of age (partnered parents).

Families with children may also be eligible for: #

  • Family Tax Benefit Part A #

    paid for each eligible child to help with the costs of raising children.

  • Family Tax Benefit Part B #

    paid once per family to recognise the impact of parenting responsibilities on work.
