What Activities Are Covered by CRSA’s Insurance Policies?
At a glance #
- Insurance is intended to cover activities connected to your Settlement Deed responsibilities.
- Activities outside these responsibilities may not be covered.
- Always check with CRSA if you are unsure whether an activity falls within the program.
Activities generally covered #
Activities outside the program #
CRSA’s insurance is based on the responsibilities outlined in your Settlement Deed. Activities that fall outside those responsibilities are unlikely to be covered under the relevant policies.
If your group is unsure whether a planned activity is connected to the program, seek clarification before proceeding.
Other insurance options #
Groups affiliated with organisations such as community clubs, schools, churches or businesses may also be able to access insurance through those organisations.
Groups located outside Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane may also be able to access public liability insurance through Rural Australians for Refugees (RAR).
“CRSA’s insurance is designed to support activities that directly relate to welcoming and settling refugee newcomers.”
