Working with Children Check requirements vary between states and territories, but all participating group members must hold a valid clearance throughout their involvement in the program.

Additional requirements in NT, WA and QLD #
NT and WA applicants
Applicants in the Northern Territory and Western Australia require sponsorship from a non-profit organisation to complete their application.If you do not have a local sponsoring organisation, contact CRSA at:info@refugeesponsorship.org.auto arrange for CRSA to sign your application.
Queensland applicants
Applicants in Queensland also require a sponsor.To be linked to CRSA’s Blue Card Organisation portal, email the following to:info@refugeesponsorship.org.au- Full name- Blue Card number- Date of birth
Existing WWCC holders #
If you already hold a valid Working with Children Check (or equivalent) in the state or territory where you will participate in the program, you do not need to obtain a new clearance.
Expiring clearances
If your WWCC or Blue Card is due to expire within the next six months, you must provide CRSA with your updated clearance once it is issued in order to continue participating in the program.
