What are Multicultural Services Officers? #
In some regions, Services Australia has Multicultural Services Officers (MSOs) who provide additional support to people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds as they navigate Services Australia services and processes.

Ask about local availability #
CSGs are encouraged to ask whether a Multicultural Services Officer is available in their local area during the Refugee Household’s initial Services Australia appointment. Where available, an MSO can provide valuable ongoing support as the Household becomes more familiar with Services Australia.
