What is the Community Refugee Integration and Settlement Pilot (CRISP) program?
The Community Refugee Integration and Settlement Pilot or CRISP – is a new sponsorship program which commenced in mid 2022. Partnering with the Department of Home Affairs, Community Refugee Sponsorship Australia (CRSA) is delivering a settlement program that will aim to support 1,500 refugee families start a new life in Australia.
Through the CRISP program, everyday Australians and communities can volunteer and have a direct impact with helping refugee families relocate to Australia. These refugee families are identified by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) as in urgent need of resettlement.
