From Pilot to Permanence.
In August 2022, the first families were welcomed to Australia under a groundbreaking new program, the Community Refugee Integration & Settlement Pilot – or the CRISP.
On 1 July 2026, after many more joyous airport arrivals and with the care and support of hundreds of everyday Australians, the CRISP becomes a permanent part of Australia’s overall humanitarian program.Â
